At 00:29AM DuBois City Police were dispatched to a establishment located at the 300 block of West DuBois Avenue for a report of an assault. Police arrived on scene at this location and spoke with the owner of the business. The owner advised Police that there was no assault, that two male just got upset and was causing a disturbance with the owner. The owner refused to prosecute.
At 2:13AM a DuBois City Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violations that happened on Maple Avenue. While the Officer was on the traffic stop, it was determined the 26 year old DuBois male was under the influence of alcohol. Police arrested the male for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. The male was transported to Penn Highland ER for a blood draw. Charges are pending against the male once receiving the lab results back.
At 12:46PM DuBois City Police were dispatched to the 600 block of West Weber Avenue for a report of criminal mischief to a front door at this residence. Police arrived on scene and found that someone had thrown a snowball through the lower pane glass of the front door busting it.
At 2:38PM DuBois City Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Chestnut Avenue for a report of a domestic at this location. Police arrived on scene and determined that this was a verbal domestic between husband and wife. Both parties agreed to stay away from each other until they could communicate with each other.
At 5:41PM DuBois City Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Daly Street for a report of two male juvenile who ran away from this location. Police responded to this location and gathered all the information. The juveniles did return back to this location on their own.
